Consignment Guidelines


We pride ourselves on creating a wonderful consigning and shopping experience for all of our valued customers here at JhettSet Closet. Interested in consigning? Please read below to get the scoop on our consignment guidelines.

All items must be in ready to sell condition. Free of marks, tears, odors and pet hair. Items must be freshly laundered and wrinkle free. Items must arrive on hangers or neatly folded in shopping bags and must be of current style, purchased within the past 3 years.

When do you consign?

Tuesday: 10-3

Wednesday: 10-3   

Thursday: 12-6    

Friday: 10-3    

Saturday: 10-3                        

No appointment is necessary. You may consign any time within our consigning hours. 


How many items may I bring?

30 items per day.

Due to space, we limit the amount of jewelry we'll look at per consignor, per day. 10 piece limit (included in your 30 item count).


What types of items do you accept?

We accept seasonal children’s and junior’s and women’s items. Women’s accessories (shoes, purses, jewelry, etc)


Children’s size(s): 2-14 year

Juniors/Women’s size(s): 0-16 and plus size


Seasonal Acceptance Guide:

February – March: Spring

April-July: Summer

August-September: Fall

October-January: Winter


Consignment Period/Payouts/Unsold Items

Your items remain on the selling floor for 60 days and go through a markdown process. All items are subject to weekly sales and special promotions. Any unsold items must be picked up on or before your consignment expiration date. Items can be picked up outside of our regular scheduled consigning hours. It is your responsibility to pull your own items from the sales floor during pick up hours. We will provide you with item details and descriptions. If you do not pick up your items they will become property of JhettSet Closet, LLC and will be clearanced to benefit the store or donated. You receive 40% of the sale price in cash. Money can be picked up any time during our regular business hours: Monday-Saturday 9:30-5 and Thursday 12-7. You can request a check to be mailed for a $2.00 fee that will be deducted from your account. Money must be picked up every 6 months.


Is there anything you don’t accept?

Infant sizes, swim wear, wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses, suiting, medical scrubs, men’s items, home decor.

Women’s: Ralph Lauren, J Crew, Ann Taylor, Free People, Anthropologie, Lands End, Banana Republic, Gap, Brooks Brothers, Burberry, Valentino, Chanel.


Children’s: Ralph Lauren, CrewCuts, Janie & Jack, Mini Boden, Tea Collection, Hanna Andersson, Gymboree, Gap, Old Navy.


Brands we don’t accept:

Anything from K-Mart, Wal-Mart and some Target items (pending style).
